Smartphone
performs many of the functions of a computer, typically having a touchscreen
interface, Internet access, and an operating system capable of running downloaded
apps.

smartphone (or smart phone) is a mobile phone with an operating system.Smartphones
typically include the features of a phone with those of other popular mobile devices,
such as personal digital assistant, media player and GPS navigation unit. Most
have a touchscreen interface and can run 3rd-party apps, and are camera phones.
Later
smartphones add broadband internet web browsing, Wi-Fi, motion sensors and
mobile payment mechanisms.
Near
future smartphones might not have a traditional battery as their sole source of
power. Instead Smartphones may pull energy from radio, television, cellular or
Wi-Fi signals.
